1965 Höfner 500/2 Club Bass sunburst

Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in Germany, the pot is dated 165 (1st week of 1965), the neck has been reset for playability, some glue stains in the finish but otherwise very clean, only slight fretwear, all original parts, no case, raised plastic logo, added pin in the cutaway (for a strap?), our workshop has performed a complete renovation of this bass and here is the full monty on what they did: 1-neck reset, 2-new bushing for the tuners, 3-repaired pickguard, 4-checked and resoldered the electronics to make sure all joints are good, 5-repaired the hole in the neck heel (that was previously plugged), 6-made a new nut, plays great! more info: The Club Bass was introduced in late 1964 and has a new body shape but the same parts as it´s predecessor, the 500/1 violin bass made famous by Paul McCartney and others.
