1959 Fender Stratocaster refin 3-tone sunburst
This guitar has been refinished (possibly oversprayed over the original finish but hard to say for sure)
Good condition, 6/10, Made in USA, weight 3,44kg (about 7,58lbs), pencil dated on the neck 4-59 and in the pickup cavity 12-58, intials in the electronics cavity RMB, has been refinished (possibly oversprayed over the original finish but hard to say for sure), lots of little black dots in the finish from touch-up attempts, original Kluson Single Line tuners with D169400 PATENT NO stamped underneath, refretted with almost no fret wear, 3 1950´s Fender black bottom pickups, bridge 6,1kOhm (rewound by pickup guru Johan Lundgren), middle 5,9kOhm and neck 6,0kOhm with spliced cables, still has the original 0.1 uF ZNW1P1 "phonebook" capacitors that are known to be found in the 50's Strats and Teles, replaced modern 5-way switch (51992 1020 Switchcraft) and all pots replaced with CTS dated 20th week of 2010, new bone nut, single string tree, but a lot of original parts are in the case including 2 pots (one Stackpole 304 potentiometer which is dated 1st week of 1959 and one Centralab 134 potentiometer dated 8th week of 1959), the 3-way Switchcraft switch with brown center wheel and 3 patent numbers (typical 1953-1962), the bridge cover, the output jack, including modern Fender tweed hardcase
