Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in Japan, 12-string and 6-string, bolt-on necks, 4pc creme humbuckers, economy tuners, including original brown hardcase with white lining, more info: The ST1200 is a double neck Studio series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 1978. It was made in Japan by FujiGen and was also known as the Studio Twin. The ST1200 has both a six string and twelve string neck. It features a mahogany body with birch top and back bolted to a pair of three-piece rock maple necks with 20-fret rosewood fingerboards with pearloid dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 70 humbucking pickups with exposed cream bobbins for each neck mounted in cream pickup rings, black pickguards, a pair of Gibraltar Tune-O-Matic style bridges and special stop tailpieces, rubberized Sure Grip control knobs, covered tuners. The ST1200 weighs in at roughly 12½ pounds (7 kg).[1] Controls consist of separate volume and tone controls for each neck, separate 3-way pickup selectors for each neck, and a 3-way neck selector. There is a single output mounted on the guitar face. For 1981 the body material was changed to laminated mahogany. The ST1300 is a similar model with set-in necks with block fretboard inlays. The ST1400 is another Studio double neck with 6 string guitar and 4 string bass necks. The ST1500 is a Studio double neck with 12 string guitar and 4 string bass necks. The AR1200 is a related Artist series double neck guitar. The ST1200 was discontinued after 1982 along with the entire Studio series line.
