1970s Ibanez Jamboree Modelo 628 Dreadnought natural

Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in Japan, this model was in the catalogue from 1974-1976, no case, lots of scratches and wear all over, some wear in the frets, adjustable bridge, bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, open book headstock so pre lawsuit, split diamond inlay in the headstock, black pickguard, more info: The 628 is a Vintage series acoustic guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1974. It was crafted in Japan and is also part of the York series. The 628 features a dreadnought body with a fine grained spruce top with selected mahogany on back and sides. The round soundhole is trimmed with a beautiful wood marquetry rosette and a black pickguard. The mahogany neck has a 21-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard, pearl blocks position markers with black side dots and a matching headstock. Components include a plastic saddle in an adjustable rosewood bridge, a plastic nut, and chrome plated individual machine heads. The 628/12 is a 12-string model. The 79 is a related model with grand concert body shape. The 628 was discontinued after 1976.
