This week will be the last with the old opening hours Mon-Fri 12-18 and Sat/Sun 12-16.
If you have been following our activities over the last decade or so you may have noticed a slow change of focus and inventory in our shop. We used to be a semi-regular guitar store with lots of new instruments from all the regular brands and tons of vintage and used guitars.
But now, in 2024/2025 we are raising the bar, with the intention to establish Oscar Guitars as the one and only Scandinavian main hub for
-information, knowledge and an opportunity to experience historic plucked and stringed instruments from all eras
-a workshop with professional luthiers working with preservation and conservation of everything from player grade to museum grade instruments
-second hand and vintage guitar evaluations and international sales
-curation of instrument collections (which means we help collectors and musicians find and purchase the right instruments for their collections)
-exhibitions of weird and cool instruments with different themes
Lots of changes will follow, and the first step is to change the opening hours for our showroom.
