Levin

Levin is a legendary Swedish guitar manufacturer with a rich history spanning more than a century. The company was founded in 1900 in Gothenburg and quickly became known for its high-quality acoustic guitars and other stringed instruments. Levin was a pioneer in Swedish guitar making and established itself as one of the most respected manufacturers in Europe during the 20th century. The company produced both classical and modern guitars, and their instruments were used by many prominent musicians.
During the 1950s and 1960s, Levin grew internationally and became a major player in the acoustic guitar market. Their models were known for their beautiful craftsmanship and unique sound, making them sought after by both amateur and professional guitarists.
Levin also manufactured guitars under various brands, such as Goya, which became popular in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s. In the 1970s, Levin was acquired by the American company C.F. Martin & Co., and production continued under the Martin brand.
Although Levin as a brand is no longer active, its legacy lives on through the many instruments created and the musical traditions they have contributed to. Many collectors and musicians today value Levin guitars for their historical significance and exceptional quality.
