Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in USA, no case, 1 3/4 inch (44,5 mm) nut width, 614 mm scale, solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, V-shaped neck with ebony fingerboard and mother-of-pearl dot inlay, reglued ebony pyramid bridge with a new bone saddle, one repaired back crack, plenty of fine finish checking, lots of scratches (mainly on the back), some nicks and dings but in remarkable nice condition considering it being well over 100 years old, plays fine with low action thanks to a neck reset, no wear on recently dressed frets, the Ideal brand was the creation of Swedish immigrant August Carlstedt, who set up a shop in Chicago in 1896 building guitars and mandolins under the Ideal brand name
