2016 Gibson Custom Shop Standard Historic '59 Les Paul Standard sunrise tea burst gloss

Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in USA, including original brown hardcase with COA and all the case candy, we always judge these fine Custom Shop guitars harder than other guitars, some would probably call this Mint Condition but we feel we really want you to be surprised of how good the condition is instead of the other way around so we are super honest; some smaller dents (looks like the finish has sunken into the pores) in the finish all over and some slight wear on the edge of the body from leaning against the floor, light finish checking in the top around the knobs, otherwise very clean and has not been played much, more specs: In 2016 the new specs feature the long neck tenon, 1 piece finger board, finger board glued to the neck with hot hide glue, neck glued to the body with hot hide glue, Custom Bucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets and 42 AWG wire, thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and an accurate truss rod route with no tuning around the truss rod. This was Gibson’s most accurate reissue to date. Sunrise Tea Burst is a stunning color. Including all hang tags, certificate, and all factory paper work. The new Standard Historic guitars are a great alternative to the True Historic’s. The only real difference between the two is the True Historic will have a wet sanded finish with the new plastics and the top is glued to the body with hot hide glue. Other than that they are the exact same guitar but you will pay several more thousand dollars for the True Historic. There is absolutely no tonal differences between the True Historic and the Standard Historic. The Standard Historic model differs from the True Historic version in the historical accuracy of some components VOS finishes are slightly duller, and meant to simulate a vintage patina. Gloss finishes originally retailed for slightly more than VOS models. Available in both Gloss and VOS versions of Faded Tobacco Burst, Washed Cherry Burst, Iced Tea Burst, Bourbon Burst, Lemon Burst, and Sunrise Tea Burst, along with various other limited run finishes.
