Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in Japan, including original hardcase and tremolo arm and bridge cover, some fret wear in the original frets (still finish over the fret ends), ugly hole in the pickguard by the trussrod (for adjustment without removing the guard), one owner since it was new, some normal wear but very clean, 2-tone sunburst over 3-piece sen body (looks like ash, sometimes called japanese ash), maple neck (also worn at the truss rod nut from adjustment) with pencil date markings 9-12-82 (guessing December 9th 1982?), single ply white pickguard, early version that has the rout between the neck pickup and the neck pocket, low serial JV08xxx so still with unlevelled staggered pole piece USA Alnico pickups with lacquer on each pole piece which is typical for USA pickups (2 red bottom stamped 172582 and 102682 and in the neck position one grey bottom stamped 172382 with black/white plastic wires) but Japanese electronics including the DM30 switch and the 3 pots, more specs: Model Model Number: 26-5010-xxx Model Name: '57 Vintage Strat Series: Vintage Series Body Colors : 2-Color Sunburst (503) , Black (506), White, Fiesta Red (540) (May 83) Body: Sen, Alder or Basswood Neck Neck Shape: “C” Shaped Neck Material: Maple Number of Frets: 21 Fret Size: Vintage Spec Fretboard Radius: 7.25 for most, though a few are 9.5 radius.
