Vai's signature models largely reflect the uncompromising virtuoso by whom they are designed, and over the years have undergone changes and improvements in line with Vai's wishes. The JEMJRSP is a significantly more affordable "light" version of the Steve Vai JEM777. Hardware, pickups, inlays and some high-end details are simpler than on the JEM777, but without compromising the playing feel and appearance associated with the JEM models. The JEMJRSP features a rosewood fingerboard with beautiful Tree of Life inlays, signature Monkey Grip in the body, Wizard III maple neck and mahogany body.
