Good condition, 6/10, Made in USA, including a very worn original hardcase and tremolo arm, has been refretted recently so the frets have no wear, lots of wear in the finish all over, some on the edge of the body (with some paint chips missing) and also some belt buckle wear, 2 screws have been removed in the tremolo but works perfectly, the back of the neck has darkened a lot, the output jack plate has been replaced with a metal plate, the logo is so worn it is almost invisible on the headstock, the first version of the CE24 has an alder body 1988-1995, replaced tuners with Grovers but the original locking tuners are in the case, 2pc humbuckers (HFS in bridge and Vintage in neck), The five-way rotary pickup selector knob offers both single coil and humbucker functionality, wired as follows:
Position 1: Humbucking bridge pickup
Position 2: Outside coils of both pickups in parallel
Position 3: Series single coils
Position 4: Parallel single coils

An early PRS, this model was simply dubbed the CE Bolt-On in late ‘80s/early ‘90s catalogs, as the CE24 model designation had yet to be minted. Features include a Wide-Thin neck profile, HFS/Vintage Bass humbucker pair, PRS Tremolo system, and locking tuners.
