Made in USA
Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in USA, including original hardcase and chrome covers for both bridge and pickup, all original parts but we realize that the serial on the neck plate is early (starting with 38 which is typical of 1972-1973, the Jazz Bass got a 3-bolt neck in mid-to-late 1974) and a normal serial for a 1975 would start with 6 or 7 so perhaps Fender used a plate that was on the bottom of a drawer and originally intended for a Telecaster Bass or a Strat which both got the 3-bolt already in 1971?, the frets are a bit flat from wear but can be saved by a level and re-crown, has an extra thumbrest by the bridge with added holes in the top, the bass was purchased in 1984/1985 by the previous owner and was used on tour in the well known dance music orchestra Manfreds during the 1980s and 1990s, has been used a lot with normal wear, bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, a previous owner has inscribed his personal number in the neck plate, the pots are dated 1377429 and 1377438, untouched solder joints, the neck is stamped J Torres under the heel, no serial stamp on the end of the neck, the neck grey bottom pickup is stamped underneath 151875 and the bridge pickup looks the same but the foam has melted so much that the stamp cannot be read
