1979/1984 Fender Stratocaster Olympic White MN
Here is a cool looking partscaster with parts from different guitars, looks great, right?
Very Good condition, 7/10, neck and body from different guitars, the neck is a maple neck with a pencil date 6-29 ´84 under the finish so it is from 1984, 2 string trees, was originally 3-bolt but is now converted to a 4-bolt neck. The guitar has been refretted with jumbo frets and a new nut (with wood chips from removal of the old nut) and has then been refinished with a new logo under a thin coat of finish (unlike the normal logo which should be totally covered by thick finish, the neck plate is an aged fake plate with a serial number 64919, the body could possibly be Japanese, lots of stamps in the neck pocket and the only readable part is SEPT.. so very hard to date, the body is made for 4-bolt necks and has 3 humbucker-sized routing cavities, the electronics; CTS pots date 0743 (43rd week of 2007). The date on the sticker under pickguard is 4-10-08 (April 10th 2008), the bridge pickup is a Fender Custom Shop singlecoil with grey bottom, middle and neck are black plastic bottoms with molded part number 016730 dated 5 6 206 with plastic cables (bk/red and bk/blue), 5-way switch with numbers 51993 0707 (from 2007), has a Wilkinson tremolo with black block, including black hardcase with rounded corners
