1965 Fender Jazz Bass sunburst

Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in Fullerton, California, USA, including original black hardcase with orange lining with logo (R and no tail).

All original parts including the thumb rest and bridge cover (but missing one screw for the thumb rest and 2 screws for the bridge cover). While checking out the internals we find tons of pencil scribbles, for example VM 10 under the neck pickup, 6 -65 on the bottom of the grey bottom neck pickup, a B under the grey bottom bridge pickup, a large S under the finish under the pickguard on the body, evenly corroded original pickguard screws, bridge saddles and other metal parts, has been refretted in the past and has no fret wear and the nut has been shimmed to allow the higher action after the refret, pearl dots.

The only anormality we find during inspection is 2 places on the body where there are runs marks from laquer which can only be seen in good light, can´t explain these but perhaps caused by dripping alcohol that resolved the finish(?), one laquer run is on the lower side of the body and one coming down on the back from the treble side cutaway, inside the case is an old sign from Hagström (probably meant to be used as a price tag for accordion in their stores).
