It is a grand auditorium made from a combination of East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce, inspired by Dave Matthews' 914ce., Big Whiskey & the GrooGrux King is the seventh studio album by the Dave Matthews Band, which was released by RCA Records on June 2, 2009, and the band's first release since the death of LeRoi. Dave Matthews drew the album's artwork and then collaborated with Taylor's Larry Breedlove for the custom designed abalone inlays dedicated to celebrate LeRoi Moore's life on this special guitar! The fingerboard is custom made and includes"Cindy" inlays like those on Dave Matthews' 914ce. A Crown with 5 prongs representing each of the original band members has been inlayed between the 11th and 12th fret. One of its tips is partially missing, representing Moores absence from the band. LeRoi's nickname "GRUX" is featured between the 13th and the 18th fret. Dave Matthews also contributed a twisting grapevine-like design to the ebony headstock.
