1960s Fender Victoria Luggage Company Briefcase gray tolex

Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in USA, the front tolex had a stain/rift so a previous owner decorated the case with a Fender logo over this but was probably not sold by Fender when it was new, this is a briefcase with some pockets internally and probably made by the same company that built Fenders legendary gray tolex cases for among others Mustang, Duo-Sonic and Musicmaster guitars and basses, if so it was made by the Victoria Luggage Company from the Mustang's introduction in 1964 until around 1976, when Fender went to the black tolex design used by the Stratocaster and Telecaster, after doing some research online we found this info (from Steve Kirtley- Vintage Musical Instrument Cases on Facebook): The labels that say "Victoria Luggage Co., Los Angeles, California" came first. The move to Inglewood seems to be in the mid 60's, perhaps after 1962. If anyone has more information please comment. It's always been interesting to me that the company name is "Luggage Company", but the label adds "World's Finest Musical Instrument Cases". They must have been founded doing suitcases, then morphed into instrument cases.
