Made in Japan. Excellent condition, new old stock. With original box. Info from the manual included in other examples from this same batch: Model SMC-71 was designed to produce high-fidelity tone and volume with particular emphasis for use on classic guitars. Only the highest quality components are used in the manufacture of this pickup. Even though designed for use on classic guitars, this pickup can be used on other instruments with equal performance.
