1962 saw the beginning of a new model with a slightly new trade name. It was a step away from the Gibson (Les Paul) design. It had simpler Fender head-piece and a body which resembled the Stratocaster. Kent was a low budget model, which had a vinyl-coated backside. The front was covered with a disc of perspex which was lacquered on the inside (this made it durable so as not to tarnish the front of the guitar)
Good condition, 6,5/10, Made in Sweden, some fret wear, number 838 of 1250pc in this batch, replaced bridge (no wire, skinny Tune-O-Matic for improved intonation), missing tremolo arm and fastening screw, including worn alligator softshell case, the vinyl on the back has shrunken a bit and come loose, missing the last dot in the fingerboard and no logo on the headstock, has the original and cool volume knob with a gold line and red dot which only came on some of these
