A wonderful full-body Gretsch acoustic archtop from the Synchromatic line that debuted in 1939, showing off its gold plated hardware including its fancy Kluson Sealfast tuners (G string tuner is slightly bent) and chromatic tailpiece, complementing the Art Deco look with its stairstep bridge and cats eye sound holes, full vintage patina with plenty of finish checking all over, crack-free spruce top with a repro pickguard, maple back and sides, a couple of repaired side cracks only, one-piece figured back, chunky neck with an off-set profile and rosewood fingerboard, minor neck binding repair, plays great thanks to a recent neck reset and refret, including a 1947 DeArmond FHC-C pickup with replaced volume pot (original pot included)
