It is a variation of the classic ES-335 model, which was first introduced by Gibson in 1958. The ES-335 is known for its semi-hollow body construction, which gives it a unique tone that is somewhere between a solid-body and a hollow-body guitar. The ES-335 Dot Satin Cherry Red 2010 features a semi-hollow maple body with a solid maple center block, a set mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. It has a 24.75" scale length and a 12" radius. The guitar is finished in a satin cherry red finish, which gives it a sleek, understated look. The pickups on the ES-335 Dot Satin Cherry Red 2010 are a pair of Gibson '57 Classic humbuckers, which are known for their warm, vintage tone. They are controlled by a three-way pickup selector switch and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup.
