Antigua, a smoky finish that was originally developed in the late 60s to hide scorch marks around the binding of Fender Coronado semi-hollow models.
Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in USA, the weight is 4,36 kg / 9,61 lbs, the neck and pickguard have different serial numbers on stickers which could mean they did not leave the Fender factory at the same time but from the looks of it they seem to belong together, your guess is as good as mine, serial number under the pickguard is S928415, the pots are dated 1377616 (16th week of 1976) and the electronics are untouched, the 3 black bottom pickups are stamped on the underside 181779 (which means 1979), 5-way switch, black pickup covers and knobs, the finish on the body is the cool and quite rare Antigua which has darkened in a cool way, the neck has no visible neck stamp (very common during this era) but there is a stamp under the neck 1782, the back and fingerboard of the maple neck has been refinished and it has also been refretted with jumbo frets and has received a new nut, new back plate Boston BP-113 Strat Back Plate - Black, including modern brown G&G Fender hardcase
