Very Good condition, 7,5/10, Made in USA, including original grey Victoria hardcase, all original parts except for the volume pot that is dated week 39 of 2010, the tone pot is dated 3046617 (17th week of 1966), lots of weather checking in the finish, worn edges of the body, has been refretted and a new nut, no visible stamp on the end of the neck, paint stick in the neck pocket with some unreadable pencil scribblings from the factory, both grey bottom pickups are dated underneath 10-7-66 (October 7th 1966), underneath the pickguard and under the finish the body is die stamped ES (In 1966, Fender used the ES code a lot on their custom color instruments. At least for 1966, the ES code was used as some sort of default for custom colored instruments (be it Teles, or Strats or Jazz Basses). This two letters (ES for Enter Special) seems to denote a special order, at least for 1966. Again this is has been seen lots of times on 1966 documented original custom color instruments.) Weight is 3.34 kg (7.36 pounds).
