Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in USA, including original hardcase, weight 4,42kg/9,65lbs, all original parts, some wear on the back of the neck, normal dents and scratches all over from a well used guitar but still very clean, gold Schaller tuners, original electronics including the potentiometers which date to 1377924 (24th week of 1979) and 1377948 (48th week of 1979), original T-Top humbucker pickups (patent number with ink stamped date FEB 13 1980 and JAN 23 1980 and stamped in the metal with patent number 2,737,842 which is quite interesting as this patent number is actually for a Gibson bridge, but it was used on their pickups from around 1962 to 1990. These pickups are often referred to as “Patent Number” pickups) which were in the case when we got this guitar (a set of Duncans are in the case), Shipping numbers for 1980 aren’t available but the ledgers show that Gibson only shipped out 29 White Les Paul Customs in 1979 making this 1980 likely a hard to find finish.
